How I Got Pregnant Using the Mira Fertility Analyzer: My Honest Mira Review and a Personal Journey Through Loss and Hope

After two easy, perfect pregnancies, I never imagined I’d face a struggle trying to conceive again. When we started trying for our third pregnancy, I anticipated things would go as smoothly as they had before, but cycle after cycle, I was met with disappointment. I tried every natural remedy and tracking method I could find, hoping for a breakthrough, but nothing seemed to make a difference. That’s when I decided to invest in the Mira Fertility Analyzer. This is my story, an honest Mira fertility review that includes the unexpected heartbreak and renewed hope that Mira brought to my fertility journey.

Trying Mira After Months of Trying

When I started using Mira, I was immediately impressed by how different it was from traditional ovulation kits. Mira tracks actual hormone metabolites, so I could see real-time data for my luteinizing hormone (LH), estrogen, and even progesterone. This wasn’t just a “yes or no” result like other tests—it was a full picture of my hormone health. Seeing those hormone levels daily in the Mira app gave me a sense of control I hadn’t felt in months.

Once I saw the actual numbers with Mira of where my hormone levels were, I realized that the period tracker apps I had been using were totally off on my most fertile days. These apps assume that everyone ovulates on day 14, and I actually was ovulating day 12, so of course the app’s projections of my fertile window were off!

After a few cycles with Mira, my ovulation patterns became clear, and finally, I saw the two pink lines I had been waiting for. I was thrilled.

Heartbreak and Discovery: Could Low Progesterone Have Been the Cause?

I continued testing for a little bit after the confirmed pregnancy test, but then I fell off with testing daily. In the heartbreak of all heartbreaks, I lost my baby boy. I was nine weeks pregnant. My doctor told me what they often say in these situations: “It was just a fluke; there’s nothing you could have done.” But going back and looking at my Mira data, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something wasn’t quite right. In retrospect, looking at those post-pregnancy numbers, inconsistent as I was about tracking them, my progesterone levels compared to population averages for pregnant Mira users was seemingly low (Mira tells you where your data falls in comparison actual norms and in relation to all of the other people in the world who use Mira, which is really nice to give a frame of reference).

Progesterone is essential for making a healthy and habitable uterine environment that allows baby to be nourished adequately and implant well. It is a common factor in many miscarriages.

I now believe that my low progesterone levels could have played a role in my miscarriage. Seeing those numbers on the Mira fertility tracker helped me realize that I needed to dig deeper into my hormone health, even if I couldn’t change what had happened.

After our loss, I decided to take control of my health more proactively. I began using bio-identical progesterone cream to support my hormone levels. Despite my doctor’s reassurances, I knew I needed to advocate for my health in a way I hadn’t done before. Looking back, I realize that a different doctor might have offered testing and support when I needed it most.

I later found out through my own pressing and finding a new healthcare provider that I had an unaddressed thyroid issue—an essential aspect of overall fertility hormone function.

Conceiving Again with Mira’s Support

With my thyroid issue addressed and my hormone levels more balanced, I felt ready to try again. This time, I turned to Mira from the very beginning. The daily tracking of LH, estrogen, and progesterone gave me real-time confidence. When to start testing with Mira was simple—I began as soon as my period ended, just as I had before, and followed my hormone changes closely. On my first cycle, I conceived again. This time, I had peace of mind knowing I was supporting my body as fully as possible.

Why Mira Was Key to My Fertility Journey

This journey with Mira wasn’t just about tracking ovulation—it was about understanding my hormones and advocating for myself through data that no doctor had provided. Here’s why the Mira Fertility Analyzer was essential for me:

  • Precision Hormone Tracking: Mira’s ability to monitor LH, estrogen, and progesterone provided the exact information I needed to support my cycle
  • Peace of Mind: Mira helped me see my hormone patterns and provided reassurance during my conception journey, making it clear when to take action
  • Empowered Health Advocacy: Having access to my hormone health data empowered me to advocate for what I needed, even when my doctor didn’t suggest further testing.

An Honest Mira Fertility Tracker Review: The Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Detailed Hormone Data: Mira provides real insights into multiple hormone levels, not just ovulation days.

  • Personalized Cycle Insights: The app’s tracking gives a cycle-specific view of fertility that’s far more in-depth than traditional kits.

  • Easy Integration: The Mira app is intuitive, and the results make tracking your cycle almost effortless.

Cons

  • Cost of Test Wands: The wands are single-use, and restocking them can be a bit costly.

  • Initial Learning Curve: Understanding hormone levels may take some time, but the app is helpful for learning.

Final Thoughts: My Mira Fertility Review

The Mira Fertility Analyzer gave me the clarity and control I needed during an emotional journey. While I may never know with 100% certainty if low progesterone caused my loss, Mira’s hormone tracking was the reason I could begin taking bio-identical progesterone and prepare my body for a healthy pregnancy the next time. My future goals are getting to the root cause of why I have struggled with low thyroid hormone and progesterone in the first place.

Mira gave me insights that no doctor had provided, and it played an invaluable role in my path to conception. If you’re considering Mira, my experience is proof that it can be more than a fertility tracker—it’s a tool for understanding and supporting your health.
